Find Area Code (FAC) is an MSDOS utility which can quickly locate U.S.
and international telephone area codes. FAC performs its search using
any part of an area code, city, state, or country and shows matches
almost instantly. FAC uses a data file (FAC.DAT) which you can modify
in any way.
You can run FAC from the MSDOS command line or you can make it memory
resident (also known as popup or Terminate and Stay Resident [TSR]
program). When you install FAC as a memory resident program, you can
choose between a small (7K of RAM) swapping version which has a small
(less than 2 second) delay while it swaps into memory from disk, or you
can have an instantly available popup which requires about 70K of RAM.
